Coconut Sugar – Coconut Balls

Steps

  1. Take a thick bottomed pan and add ghee and the coconut in it. Roast the coconut till you can smell a nice aroma (should take 2-3 minutes).

  2. Then, add the milk and let the coconut cook on low flame. It should take 5-7 minutes. It’s time to add the sugar now. Keep stirring. The liquid mixture will form into a nice dough. Be careful as there are chances that the coconut might stick to the sides of the pan. Stir continuously.

  3. Let it cool for 10 minutes. The mixture should be warm and you would want to shape your coconut balls now. Roll them in some desiccated coconut.
